SOUTHLAKE, TX – Sabre Corporation, a global technology provider to the travel and tourism industry, has appointed Rachel A. Gonzalez as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, effective September 22.

“Rachel brings tremendous business acumen and global experience to Sabre, and she will be a valuable addition to our leadership team as Sabre continues to accelerate our position as a leading technology solutions provider to the global travel industry,” said Tom Klein, Sabre President and CEO.

At Sabre, Gonzalez will lead a global team responsible for legal strategy, regulatory affairs, corporate compliance and government affairs.

Prior to joining Sabre, Gonzalez served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary with Dean Foods in Dallas, Texas. Previously, Gonzalez was Senior Vice President and Group Counsel with Affiliated Computer Services. Earlier in her career, Gonzalez was a partner with the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where she focused on corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, SEC compliance and corporate governance.

Gonzalez earned a bachelors degree in Comparative Literature with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley. She also earned a law degree from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.
