A member of the Ukrainian rebel speaks out in English: “When the Ukrainian army shoots, they shoot our citizens, they don’t shoot us. They murder thousands of our people – young, old, handicapped, infants – we want this to stop, we are not the shooters. The shooters are the Ukrainian army with the full support of the United States, the European Union, and many other countries. Please help us instead, listen to us, don’t murder our families. We are also citizens of this country!”
Graham Phillips, a British journalist, is embedded with Rebel fighters in Eastern Ukraine and put a remarkable number of reports and interviews together.
A member of the Rebel group told Graham:
“My wife is a teacher, one of my son is a student. Our moral obligation is to fight for our future. We cannot find common grounds with such a crazy government.
This place was so beautiful. Half of a million people were citizens of my town Luhansk. Now it’s a town of the dead. This is a reason for me to fight”
