HONOLULU, Hawaii – Hawaii, the ever-popular sunny tourist destination, will be under a flash flood watch starting at 6:00 pm on Saturday evening, July 19, 2014 through 6:00 pm on Monday, July 21, 2014.
Tropical depression Wali is heading towards the Aloha state and causing unstable weather conditions and a lot of moisture that may cause heavy showers and possible thunderstorms.
There may be localized intense rainfall causing the potential for flash flooding, with the greatest chance of this occuring over the windward slopes of the islands.
