Operating a uniform fleet of 9 Cessna Grand Caravan C208Bs, the latest brand-new aircraft delivered earlier this year to Auric Air, can reach remote areas of the country where often only rough short airstrips serve as landing grounds. For that purpose, all aircraft are equipped with a STOL kit, allowing for the already impressive takeoff and landing performance to be improved by a further 20 percent reduction of the takeoff roll. All aircraft are also equipped with safety equipment normally only installed in much larger aircraft like TCAS, EGPWS, and Indigo Sat. All of the birds also have an ex-factory improved APE 3 capability which lifts the maximum takeoff weight to over 9,000 pounds.
The airline is BARS certified, the equivalent for small airlines of the IOSA certification in place for IATA members.
