SUVA, Fiji – A new theme will be introduced at the Digicel Bula Festival to attract not only Fijians but tourists as well.

Association president Mohammed Hafiz said one of the themes for the evening programs would be dedicated to the tourism industry.

“We will focus on the tourism industry, particularly the hoteliers in Fiji,” Mr Hafiz said.

“We will look at how we can promote Fiji and Nadi as a tourist destination and we will show tourists how they can involve themselves with charitable events while in Fiji.”

And according to Mr Hafiz, there is good support from business houses with sponsors secured for all the nightly programs.

“We will hold an oratory contest for Youth Night on Monday. Tuesday will be iTaukei Night, followed by Bollywood Night and Tourism Night.”

He said the plan was to cater for people from all walks of life.
