Frankfurt Airport’s (FRA) passenger terminals will be celebrating the joy of life Brazilian-style on Sunday, June 29, with the lively “Feel Brazil” AirXperience day. Presented by Fraport AG, “Feel Brazil” will entertain passengers and visitors with Latin American rhythms and soccer fun. From 10:00 to 18:00, Brazil and King Soccer will reign supreme in the terminals this coming Sunday.

In Terminal 2, “Banda Aba Brazil” and “Spanish Music Mafia” will provide lively entertainment on the main stage at the Food Plaza (Level 4). To cool down, you can go out onto the nearby Visitors’ Terrace, where caipirinhas – Brazil’s famous cocktail drink – can be sipped under the palm trees at the “Beach Club”. An airport specialist will provide running commentary about the action taking place out on the busy tarmac and airfield, explain the different types of aircraft, and tell fascinating stories about Frankfurt Airport. This will be one of the last opportunities to enjoy the panoramic view before the Visitors’ Terrace and Food Plaza at Terminal 2 close on September 1 for remodeling.

In Terminal 1, the Airport City Mall (Level 0) will celebrate “Feel Brazil” under the motto “Let’s get loud!” Samba and capoeira dancers and drummers will get everyone’s blood pumping with the excitement of the pounding rhythms. The dancers will also wander through the departure halls to entertain guests.

Both terminals will be caught up in soccer fever, too. A Soccer Fun Park with four activity stations will let passengers test their skills with the ball and have a chance to win instant prizes. All participants will automatically have a chance to win a raffle. The first prize is a Condor flight for two persons to visit Brazil’s most beautiful beaches. Anyone who feels like wishing good luck to the German World Cup team can sign one of the 12 wall-mounted jerseys, a photograph of which will be sent to Germany’s coach Jogi Löw and his kickers.

More information about all AirXperience days and other events at FRA is available at www.events.frankfurt-airport.com. Frankfurt Airport’s AirXperience days are part of the “Great to Have You Here!” service quality program launched by Fraport AG to introduce a wide range of service enhancements – making FRA more convenient and attractive for passengers and visitors at Germany’s largest aviation hub. By the way, more than 58 million passengers used Frankfurt Airport in 2013.
