BANGKOK, Thailand – Seven hotels within the Thailand portfolio of Centara Hotels & Resorts have been awarded their star certification for the period 2014-2016 from the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
The certificates were presented to Thirakiati Chirathivat, the company’s vice president for procurement, by deputy minister of Tourism and Sports Dr. Sombat Kuruphan during a ceremony at BCC Hall, at Central Ladprao.
Receiving their five-star certification were Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin, Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui, and Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi.
Two hotels received their four-star certification, namely Centara Seaview Resort Khao Lak, and Centara Hotel Hat Yai.
