Following hot on the heels of the French Food Festival in Nairobi, aficionados of good food have more reason to go out and indulge as Nairobi Restaurant week will kick off on January 30, giving 8 days of culinary delight opportunities until February 6, when the event closes. Over 50 restaurants from across the city have signed up for the food festival and set menus will include a three-course special menu consisting of a served starter, main course, and dessert. According to the information received, options will be available to choose from in order to meet everyoneโ€™s culinary taste or respect dietary restrictions at a reasonable prie.

EatOutKenyaโ€™s Mikul Shah is one of the driving forces behind the Nairobi Restaurant Week, and this inaugural event will surely grow from strength to strength, considering that โ€œonlyโ€ just over 50 restaurants are participating this year out of several hundred which would no doubt qualify to be part of the event.

Some of Nairobiโ€™s top names are part of the food week such as the Mandhari at the Nairobi Serena Hotel, the Lord Delamare at the Fairmont Norfolk, the Flame Tree at the Sarova Panafric, The Thai Chi at the Sarova Stanley, all of them highly-acclaimed hotel restaurants but also popular eateries like the Haandi, La Dolce Vita, and the Brew Bistro Fine Dining.

For more details visit www.nairobirestaurantweek.com which gives a complete listing of all the participating venues and also explains how patrons can win some exciting prices by filling out a review card at the end of the meal. Bon Appetite!
