MINSK, Belarus – The Tourist Event Calendar 2014 has been unveiled in Belarus, BelTA learnt from Director of the National Tourism Agency Vyacheslav Chernov.
The Tourist Event Calendar is available on the official website of the National Tourism Agency in the Russian language. In the near future the information on major tourist events in the country will be provided in English and German.
The calendar includes more than 100 sport, military history and eco-tourism events. It provides the information on where to go for a gastronomical festival and what art exhibitions to visit. The calendar contains brief information on the events, the venues and contact information of their organizers.
The January events include the 26th edition of International Festival of Classic called Music January Music Nights, the international ballroom dances competition Vitebsk Snowflake, the celebration of the World Snow Day in Belarus, participate in sled dog race Zavirukha.
The print edition in English, which will feature the most interesting and original activities, will be published soon. The calendar will be distributed at international tourist fairs, presentations, and at the embassies.
The website of the National Tourism Agency offers the interactive tourist map of Belarus and the registry of excursion routes.
