“In its role as the international travel industry’s leading trade show and as an economic indicator, ITB Berlin is of great interest to the media around the world. This new service has been introduced in response to demand from media representatives worldwide, who want to report live on the opening of ITB Berlin, but are unable to attend the fair,” said Michael T. Hofer, director of Press and Public Relations at Messe Berlin.
A new service for the press at the ITB Berlin Convention
Individual meetings between the press and high-ranking speakers at the ITB Berlin Convention represent yet another innovation in the communication strategy of ITB Berlin. In reaction to strong interest expressed by journalists over recent years, ITB Berlin is now offering members of the media an opportunity to conduct interviews with selected speakers at the ITB Berlin Convention directly after their speech or panel discussion. These interviews will take place in the Media Briefing Room in Hall 7.1b. Click on www.itb-berlin.com/press to obtain information on speakers and times. The program of the global travel industry’s largest convention lists around 80 outstanding events on up-to-the-minute topics, with 250 leading experts from business and science.
