ZURICH, Switzerland – VistaJet Holding SA, headquartered in Switzerland and Europe’s fastest-growing business jet company, today announced it has taken delivery of its first Challenger 300 business aircraft, as well as a second Challenger 605 aircraft, from Bombardier Aerospace at a ceremony held in Montreal, Canada.

Starting August 1, both aircraft will join VistaJet’s rapidly growing fleet to meet rising charter demand.

The Challenger 605 jet in particular will focus on meeting the increased demand seen at London’s City Airport, where it will join VistaJet’s existing fleet of popular Learjet 40 jets, which have been in service for over a year. The airport’s proximity to London’s financial district has resulted in increased customer demand for VistaJet’s blend of business aviation solutions. VistaJet operates a diversified and modern fleet with an average age of less than two years.

“We welcome customers to a new chapter in VistaJet’s international operations. London City Airport is the most convenient way to access one of the world’s most important financial centers, and we are delighted to offer our customers more service at this key airport. Together, these technologically advanced, high performance aircraft will fully deliver our unique VistaJet experience,” said Bing Chen, VistaJet CEO.

“Our success is greatly helped by the proven popularity and reliability of our Bombardier business aircraft that continue to represent our unique service levels with exceptional comfort and performance.”

The Challenger 605 aircraft, together with VistaJet’s Learjet 40 jet, is certified and approved for landing capability at London City Airport, for which, prior to being approved for operations into and out of the airport, an aircraft must demonstrate safe take-off and landing on the airport’s 4,327 ft. (1,319 m) runway, as well as meet local noise requirements.

The Challenger 300 jet accommodates up to eight passengers plus two crew and features full avionics. The aircraft’s range of up to 3,100 miles allows non-stop access from, for example, London to Dubai, Moscow or St Johns (Canada).

The Challenger 605 jet features the widest stand-up cabin of any large category business jet available and has an even greater range than the Challenger 300 aircraft.

VistaJet announced on July 1 that it had completed the acquisition of Skyjet International from Bombardier, becoming the second-largest business jet company outside North America. VistaJet now offers customers an expanded range of exclusive services featuring the best-equipped fleet backed by VistaJet’s Flight Solutions and Skyjet International’s Jet Membership programs.
