Frontier Airlines has announced that it will be eliminating its standby policy and adding a new fee for reservation changes.

If customers wish to change their scheduled flight to a different flight on the same day they will receive, if available, a confirmed seat on the new flight and will be charged a fee of the difference between the two flights, if there is one.

When reservations are changed in advance of the date of travel customers will be charged a fee of USD150 and the difference between the two fares.

These changes apply to tickets purchased from 25 July for travel from 15 August 2008.
