RIGA, Latvia – The Memorandum of understanding was signed recently at the conference of the Baltic Assembly at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania between medical tourism and resorts clusters of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The document was prepared by Lithuanian Medical Tourism Cluster and is going to lead Baltic counties to tighter and more integrated collaboration and cooperation between certain clusters and industries.
Signatures of representatives of Lithuanian Medical Tourism Cluster, Lithuanian Resorts Association, Latvian Health Tourism Cluster, Latvian Resort Association and Estonian Health Tourism Cluster have gave life for an idea to unite efforts and establish the Baltic Medical Tourism Cluster which is going to create great advantages for the industry development in the region helping Baltic countries to compete with larger and more experienced markets.
Exchanging experiences, improving services, developing sophisticated tourist routes within Baltic and attracting larger medical tourists flows from all around the world – these are challenges for the Baltic Medical Tourism Cluster.
