The Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, Mr.

The Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, Mr. Alain St.Ange, has said that he was thrilled to have seen the Kreol Festival listed for over a week by Sky News on their daily Cultural Diary. “Sky News has done the Creole community of the world a real service by making known that their annual gathering in the Seychelles is an event worth a mention alongside the great events in New York, Paris, Australia, etc.,” Minister St.Ange said.

The Creole population of the world gathered again this year in Seychelles for the annual Festival Kreol from October 25-31, 2013.

This is the only gathering of the Creole community of the world, and this year musical performances for the festival came from the Creole islands of the Seychelles, La Reunion, Mauritius, Rodrigues, Martinique, and Haiti.

Official delegations from the world of Creoles also flew into the Seychelles from Mauritius, La Reunion, and Rodrigues.
