ORLANDO, FL – Hard Rock International – owner of one of the world’s most iconic and recognized brands – announces the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, anticipated to open in May 2014. Continuing Hard Rock’s earned ‘Best in Class’ recognition in the Americas, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will represent the first Hard Rock Hotel to open in Europe. Palladium Hotel Group, pursuant to a license agreement from Hard Rock, will transform two former Fiesta Hotels, Club Don Toni and Hotel Don Toni, into the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, slated to feature the brand’s legendary music-inspired style. The two buildings will be united by a remodeled lobby and multi-purpose space, which will include various dining, shopping and entertainment outlets. True to its musical roots, the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will also offer unparalleled live music and DJ performances for guests, a perfect synergy with Ibiza’s existing scene as a famed cultural center for electronic dance music and a renowned hub for international artists.

“With our existing European presence of more than 40 years and 32 Hard Rock Cafes, we look forward to establishing our first Hard Rock Hotel in the region, especially in conjunction with the well-respected European developer and the leading hotel owner and operator in Ibiza, Palladium Hotel Group,” said Josh Littman, director of development – EMEA of Hard Rock International. “This project is a natural alignment of interests for Hard Rock, as Palladium recently opened the Hard Rock Cafe in Ibiza. As we enter Europe, and make strides toward additional hotel development goals within the continent, we will seek relationships with quality developers like Palladium, while we remain dedicated to introducing our brand to new guests and existing Hard Rock fans.”

“We look forward to working with Hard Rock International on the upcoming development in the enviable destination of Ibiza,” said Abel Matutes Prats, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group. “Our team feels privileged to be a part of this project and we’re certain the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will be a success. We operate more than 3,450 rooms in 12 hotels in Ibiza, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Hard Rock as we’ve seen great success in our existing Cafe business.”

Offering more than 480 rooms, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will blend Mediterranean island inspiration with the world-renowned Hard Rock energy throughout its 235 suites and vast amenities, such as the Rock Spa®, Body Rock® workout facility, 8,600 square feet of meeting space, iconic music memorabilia and world famous Rock Shop® featuring Hard Rock’s iconic merchandise. To add to the destination’s famed nightlife offerings, the hotel is also anticipated to include exceptional dining and entertainment, such as a lobby bar, kids club, teen venue and beach club. Guests can also enjoy the natural beauty of Ibiza with private swim-out pools for specialty suites, in addition to two pools enhanced with bars, private cabanas and poolside service. Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will electrify the region with outstanding entertainment by local and global icons for up to 2,500 guests to experience live at the main outdoor pool stage. In addition, pop culture fans will be treated to iconic music memorabilia lining the hotel walls.
