AVIAREPS is expanding into Australia to further strengthen the group’s Asia-Pacific network. To be present with a branch office of its own in Sydney, the world’s leading airline representation and tourism marketing company has acquired Integra Tourism Marketing, Australia’s longest-established destination marketing company.

Integra Tourism Marketing, founded 20 years ago, has a unique tourism client base, representing the Alaska Travel Industry Association, Anaheim/Orange County VCB, LA Inc., the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau, NYC & Company, Tourism British Columbia, and Travel Alberta in the markets of Australia and New Zealand.

Industry veteran and Integra Tourism Marketing principal and founder Fred Sparksman said, “After 20 years of operation, I am proud of our achievements and delighted that Integra can now become a part of the world’s leading tourism and aviation marketing network and act as the Oceania arm of the AVIAREPS Group.”

Mr. Sparksman will be moving on to pursue other business interests, however, Integra’s team of seven marketing professionals all remain as part of the newly-renamed company AVIAREPS Australia. With twenty years of destination marketing experience, Leeanne Dyer is taking over as general manager of the new AVIAREPS subsidiary located in the heart of Sydney.

“A warm welcome to the Integra team! We greatly appreciate the addition of more manpower to our AVIAREPS family,” said Michael Gaebler, CEO and chairman of the AVIAREPS group. He considers the latest acquisition as very important to further strengthen the company’s destination marketing division and continued, “Reaching the shores of Australia is a strategic step in order to create a strong network of specialists in the Asia-Pacific region for our customers. In view of the increasing travel behavior of the local public, Australia and New Zealand win more and more on attractiveness – especially for the European and North American tourism authorities we represent.”

The new branch office in Sydney may be contacted at: AVIAREPS Australia, Level 5, 68 Alfred Street, Milsons Point, NSW 2061 New South Wales, Australia, Phone: +61 (0)2 9959 4277, Fax: +61 (0)2 9929 4543, E-mail: [email protected].
