Southwest Airlines agreed to refund tickets of a family who was kicked off a flight on July 4, the Arizona Republic reported.

According to the newspaper, the airline contacted the family Monday and said it would refund the cost of six one-way tickets from Detroit to Seattle via Phoenix.

Wendy Slaughter was traveling with her four children — one of whom suffers from autism and one of whom has cerebral palsy — and her pregnant sister. Sourcing Seattle television station KIRO, the Republic said that the family was detained by police at the gate and told they were too disruptive to get on the connecting flight to Seattle.
