Passengers killed in the FlyDubai crash in Southern Russia include: 44 Russians, 8 from Ukraine, 2 from India, and 1 from Uzbekistan, the Dubai Media Office stated.

Russian President Putin orders assistance to relatives of those killed in Rostov-on-Don plane crash, a Kremlin spokesman said, according to Reuters.

The cause of FlyDubai crash is unconfirmed, but a Russian investigative committee says human error or technical failure are 2 main theories; “By all appearances, the cause of the air crash was the strongly gusting wind, approaching a hurricane level,” Governor of the Rostov region said, according to Al Arabiya.

FlyDubai airline says it believes “there are no survivors” from the Russia plane crash, as reported by itv news.

United Arab Emirates Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, said on the FlyDubai crash in Southern Russia: “I offer my condolences to the families of the passengers who lost their lives onboard flight FZ981. This terrible tragedy grieves us all. We mourn those lost, may their souls rest in peace. Our thoughts are with their loved ones at this time of sorrow and grief,” according to @HHShkMohd.
