Yemen, Tunisia discuss tourism cooperation ties


SANA’A – Minister of Tourism Nabil al-Faqih held talks on Sunday with the Tunisian ambassador to Yemen Abdul-Aziz Baba on aspects of the mutual cooperation between the two countries and ways of reinforcing them.

Both sides affirmed the importance of activating cooperation agreement between both countries, particularly exchange of experiences, inter-tourism between Yemen and Tunisia and benefiting from the Tunisian experience to support the Ministry of Tourism in preparation of the national strategy for tourism in the country.

During the meeting, they reviewed Tunisia’s tourism experience and Tunisian efforts to develop tourism sector.

The minister praised the tourist level of Tunisia as one of the best Arab states, affirming that Yemen would participate in tourism salon which will be held in Tunisia in May.
