Seychelles, positioning as a relevant tourism destination in La Reunion, has forged through an aggressive publicity campaign to raise the archipelago’s visibility on the sister island.

Journalists and producers from La Reunion flew to the Seychelles to primarily cover the 2013 Carnaval International de Victoria and to then follow different angles and film Seychelles in a way that will woo its audience to the spectacular sites and unique selling points of Seychelles.

Zone Australe is one of the leading French television channels in La Reunion and through their camera lenses, they have announced that they have captured the unique selling points of Seychelles as a leader in tourism development. The La Reunion television will soon beam a detailed report on the 2013 reputed Carnaval in Seychelles; an interview with Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture; the discovery of the island’s talented artists; the Seychelles’ cuisine; and the success story of the conservation of the island’s fauna and flora.

It has now been announced in La Reunion that starting from April 27 to May 25, Zone Australe will come out in full swing with 5 programs dedicated to the Seychelles islands.

Serge Marizy, the known Television Producer from La Reunion, who has visited Seychelles on countless occasions, has compiled, with the voice over of Journalist, Manon, 5 7-minute programs promoting tourism and increasing the competitiveness of the island as a tourism destination with a difference.

“These television programs can only but seduce the Zone Australe television audience to the Seychelles diversity of cultures, and it will surely create a lasting impression and entice more potential holiday makers to Seychelles,” said a representative from Zone Austral.

Seychelles is a founding member of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP).
