UFTAA Annual Meeting and Forum taking place soon in Brussels


Doctor Peter De Wilde, President of the European Travel Commission, will be the keynote speaker at the opening of the UFTAA Annual General Assembly and Forum scheduled for November 8 and 9 at the Pullman Hotel in Brussels. Dr. Wilde, who is also CEO of the Flemish Tourist Authority, will address delegates on the travel and tourism industry with special emphases on the Flemish region.

UFTAA President Joe Borg Olivier said that in addition to the statutory agenda items to be discussed, delegates will have the opportunity to be updated on the current issues related to the airline industry and IATA. The New Gen ISS which encompasses the Accreditation, Credit Management and Alternative Method of Payment will give a kick-start to the forum. Other subjects such as IATA Global Insurance Solutions versus bank guarantees and local Insurance agreements, alternative payments solution Easy Pay, the New Distribution Capability, as well as the situation with regards to ADMs, cut offs, payment frequencies, etc. will be dealt with during the forum.
