Travelers can use a single card to pay for public transportation in Korea, Japan and China beginning in September.
The arrangement came in an annual meeting among the three countries’ tourism ministers held in Korea’s second-largest city Busan, where the three sides are discussing ways to mutually promote tourism in the region.
Along with the trans-border transportation card the three ministers also reached agreements on developing cruise lines and other tour packages that link tourist attractions of the three nations.
