His Excellency Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al Jehani, Vice President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) for Marketing and Programs, stated that the “image” these days represents one of the most important means of tourism marketing, and it is the most influential means at that. He pointed out that tourism marketing, perhaps, more than any other similar sectors, needs skilled images, ensuring professional and technical specifications that turn out to be the attractive means for highlighting tourism sites.

Al Jehani further stated that, organization of, “Saudi Colors Forum” by SCTA next Sunday, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTA, and in the presence of His Excellency, Dr. Abdul Aziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, comes in line with SCTA’s efforts to harness media power to introduce, promote, and market tourism and heritage sites in the Kingdom.

The forum, which will be held in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Information, in addition to a number of photography associations is considered to be a new event through which SCTA aims to highlight the esthetic value of tourism and heritage locations in the Kingdom, in addition to highlighting the tourism distinction of Saudi Arabia and its cultural dimension.

The forum also comes as one of the major initiatives of SCTA confirming to the directives of HRH President of SCTA in respect of encouraging photography hobby within tourism and heritage sites in an attempt to highlight the tourism potentials in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Noteworthy, the “Saudi Colors Forum,” which is set to be held from November 25, under the patronage of HRH President of SCTA, at the Riyadh International Convention and Conference Center, is the first and largest national forum of its kind devoted to photography in the Kingdom utilizing photography in the marketing the national tourism.
