International Meetings Review, the meetings industry supersite delivered by the leading publishers within the global meetings industry, is partnering with meetings technology provider, ABBIT Meeting Support, at EIBTM 2012 to deliver an online TV service for its global audience of international meeting planners entitled โ€œEIBTM โ€“ the uncut version.โ€

ABBIT and International Meetings Review are combining stand space to form a live TV studio from the heart of the show floor and utilizing the combined technical and AV resources of the former, and the international news editors of the latter, to deliver insight across two online TV streams of keynote interviews โ€“ one delivering FRESH insights into content design, meetings architecture, and support technologies, the other to provide venue and destination insights from leading exhibitors off the show floor.

Maarten Vanneste CMM, Managing Director of ABBIT and Chief Executive of the Meeting Support Institute (MSI), is joined by Elling Hamso, Ruud Janssen, and several other members to deliver the first stream of keynotes focusing on content design, meeting architecture, and technologies, while James Latham, Executive Producer of International Meetings Review, and his fellow editors from the leading media brands including Martin Lewis of CAT Publications will be conducting the venue and destination stream.

โ€œIn all, we aim to conduct around 30 keynote interviews of approximately 3-7 minutes each, the optimum length for online viewing for business purposes. Having genuine expertise in abundance within our ranks, we are guaranteed a series of interviews which will deliver profound insight and valuable knowledge to planners worldwide. Being able to stream the keynotes โ€œas liveโ€ from the show floor over International Meetings Review will provide huge added value for their viewers around the world as well as the product and service providers participating in the keynotes,โ€ commented Vanneste.

EIBTM โ€“ the uncut version will be broadcast over the vimeo platform of International Meetings Review (IMR) as well as that of the Meeting Support Institute. The combined distribution of the network exceeds 300,000 meeting professionals worldwide and Latham will feature the big guns from the publishing network to conduct the keynotes including Martin Lewis from M&IT, James Lancaster from Association Meetings International, Roger Kellerman from Meetings International, Alex Yeomans from CIM Australia, Michael Chow from TTG Asia Media, Ruthanne Terrero from Questex, Jan Klavora from Kongres, Vivianne Vogels from BBT Online, Betsy Bair from Meetingsnet, Margherita Franchetti from EventReport, Lance Gibbons from Film & Event Media, Rob Nicholas from Meet Middle East, and Dr. Anja Wagner from TW Germany.

โ€œThis is a fabulous opportunity to bring these hugely-talented journalists and professionals live on screen,โ€ said Latham, โ€œThey are all leaders in their respective fields or geographies and if you asked for a Top Ten of industry journalists, then I can comfortably say that we have them all. Donโ€™t expect a smooth ride for the interviewees โ€“ in some instances this is going to be something of a grilling and certainly something not to be missed!โ€

Vanneste and Latham have appointed two co-producers to coordinate their respective streams โ€“ Eva Verbraeken will oversee the schedules for the content/architecture/technologies stream while Ellie Harrison manages the IMR stream (details below). Companies wishing to feature C-suite interviewees should contact the relevant producer.

Meanwhile, ABBIT and IMR are also offering single sponsorships for each of their streams with a combination of pre-interview โ€œstings,โ€ post interview โ€œTV commercialโ€ slots, set co-branding, combined with online advertising within the vimeo sites hosting the output (cost 5,000 euros). The series will also be pre-promoted across IMR and its publishing partnerships within the 500,000 weekly alert distribution in advance of EIBTM to add pre-show promotion for each sponsor. Details are available from the publisher members of the International Meetings Review Network or Ellie Harrison, Communications Manager at IMR.

EIBTM โ€“ the uncut version goes live from EIBTM 2012 in Barcelona, November 27-29, and the output remains available at www.internationalmeetingsreview.com and www.abbit.eu for 12 months.
