DALLAS, Texas – Southwest Airlines announced today the addition of National Car Rental as a new Partner of the carrier’s frequent flyer program, Rapid Rewards. Members of Rapid Rewards will receive 600 points per qualifying rental from National.

To celebrate the new partnership, now through Nov. 15, 2012, Members can receive triple points and save up to 25 percent on any qualifying rental of three days or more. That’s 1,800 points instead of the standard 600 points! In order to receive the bonus points, when booking a rental car on southwest.com, Members should enter Contract ID 5030346 and provide their Rapid Rewards number.

“This new partnership with National Car Rental is a great enhancement to our Rapid Rewards program,” said Jonathan Clarkson, Southwest’s Director of Rapid Rewards. “This is yet another way we can provide our Members with opportunities to earn Rapid Rewards Points throughout the entirety of their travel experience.”

Southwest’s Rapid Rewards Program, with unlimited reward seats, no blackout dates, and points that don’t expire*, makes it fast and easy for Members to earn reward flights! That’s why Rapid Rewards was recently ranked as having the best reward seat availability of any U.S. carrier** for the third year in a row.
