Central California are rattled by earthquakes Wednesday morning. The first one was recorded at 10.40 am local time in Lone Pine, followed by an aftershock close to Inyo, California.

The quake triggered emergency alerts on cell phones asking residents to drop cover, hold on, and protect.

The quake happened in a remote desert area of Central California and it’s not expected to cause major injury or damages.
