Yesterday, the Obama Administration announced its National Travel and Tourism Strategy. The Receptive Services Association of America applauds the Administration for recognizing the strategic value of a strong travel and tourism sector and the need for strong action to maintain the USโ€™ place in the global tourism economy.

RSAA will work with its industry partners, public-sector partners, and Visit USA partners around the world to help the administration reach the goal of 100 million inbound visitors by the end of 2021. The association recognizes that attaining this goal will entail hard work and the creation of innovative partnerships among and in the inbound travel sector. RSAA, as the authority on US inbound travel, stands ready to facilitate this increased travel to the United States.

โ€œThe creation of a national travel and tourism strategy is something that is long overdue,โ€ said Jonathan Zuk, RSAAโ€™ Chairman and member of the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board, โ€œOur members stand ready to lend their experience and expertise to the cause of promoting travel to the United States.โ€

โ€œInbound travel to the United States means more jobs,โ€ said RSAA Executive Director Matt Grayson, โ€œThe creation of a National Travel and Tourism Strategy will put more Americans to work and create a stronger economy, the benefits of which will be felt by all Americans.โ€
