One week after registration opens, Routes Africa is full speed ahead

As expected airlines, airport authorities, and tourism boards are registering fast for the Routes Conference that will be held in the Seychelles this coming July.

As expected airlines, airport authorities, and tourism boards are registering fast for the Routes Conference that will be held in the Seychelles this coming July.
The organizers of the conference opened the registration for the Seychelles conference but a week ago, and already many airlines and airport authorities have formally registered.

It is reported that the following airlines have already confirmed their participation: South African Airways, Arik Air, Etihad Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Mega Maldives Airlines, Air Seychelles, and Nasair, and the following airport authorities are also traveling to Seychelles to create synergies and discuss new partnerships: Dallas/Fort Worth International, Aeroportos de Mozambique, Copenhagen Airports A/S, Ghana Airports Company Limited, Aeroports Du Mali, Bangalore International Airport, Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen, Tanzania Airports Authority, Frankfurt Airport, and Entebbe International Airport.

The 2012 Routes Africa in the Seychelles is set to be the forum where Africa will discuss new openings and air links. โ€œOther tourism boards are already looking at their registration, and airlines have been calling to seek private meetings,โ€ said a representative of the Seychelles Tourism Board.

Coinciding with Routes Africa 2012 in Seychelles will also be the RETOSA Board of Directors Meeting, which will bring another group of decision makers to Seychelles and to Routes Africa 2012.
