Hawaii air passenger arrivals continue to drop

With 209 cases of Coronavirus in Hawaii and shelter in place order for all islands, the State is now also requiring anyone flying interisland to be quarantined for 14 days.

A quarantine for flights from other regions, like the U.S. mainland or Asia is already in place.

Visitors are required to remain in hotel rooms and are not allowed to leave their rooms. They are also not allowed to use any hotel facilities, including restaurants or swimming pools.

This is difficult for anyone planning a multi-island trip or for families from different islands to come together. Health care workers are exempt.
