LONDON, UK – Multiple Michelin Star-rated chef, Gordon Ramsay, is putting the final touches on two of his newest restaurants, which will open in Doha, Qatar, next month. Chef Ramsay has a string of restaurants around the globe, from the UK, USA, and Europe, to the Far East and Middle East.

Gordon Ramsay is set to open two new restaurants in Doha in May 2012. The two restaurants, named Gordon Ramsay Doha and Opal by Gordon Ramsay will open at The St. Regis Doha.

Headed by Michelin-starred chef Gilles Bosquet, both restaurants will provide food enthusiasts with culinary delights inspired by the world-famous chef Gordon Ramsay.

Opening on May 1, 2012 is Gordon Ramsay Doha, offering fine-dining in an intimate setting. It will be shortly followed on May 15, 2012 by the opening of Opal by Gordon Ramsay, which will serve western classics in a relaxed bistro-style environment. Both will provide delicious dining experiences, in beautifully-designed surroundings. The new openings will give The St. Regis Doha the widest dining selection within a hotel in Qatar, with ten distinctive culinary and lounge experiences including the first Jazz at Lincoln Center outside of the US.

Signature dishes on offer at Gordon Ramsay Doha will include Gordon Ramsay’s famed ravioli of lobster, shellfish, and salmon, as well as chef Bosquet’s signature cannelloni of wild mushrooms with black truffle emulsion. For the ultimate dinner experience, diners can opt for the seven-course tasting menu. The Opal by Gordon Ramsey will provide a relaxed alternative, with a range of favorites such as crispy chicken wings, freshly-diced fish ceviche, steaks with homemade garnish, and a pizza menu. Both restaurants will offer extensive views of the Arabian Gulf.

The St. Regis Doha hotel provides a great base from which to explore the city, enjoying a location in the West Bay area of Doha, adjacent to the Pearl Island. Guests are also steps away from attractions such as Katara Cultural Village and the Museum of Islamic Arts.
