Denis Thouvard, (4th from right in photo) General Manager of Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket, recently hosted a Thai cooking class for the “TAT and Travelbag Press Trip from UK” during their visit to promote Phuket tourism to the UK market and stay at the resort. This press trip led by Anna Streafeild, (1st left in photo) Public Relations Manager of Travelbag.co.uk, and Joanna Cooke, (3rd from right) Marketing Manager, Leisure of Tourism Authority of Thailand in UK & Ireland.

The Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket is a 5-star beach resort located at the most secluded area of Karon Beach in Phuket, with direct access to the beach and lush green hills behind the property. All of the 262 spacious rooms, suites, and villas face the ocean and feature a private balcony or terrace with beautiful breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea.

The architectural design of the resort takes its inspiration from the classical Sino-Portuguese style that was brought to Phuket in the nineteenth century, and the property is set in a landscaped water park with a lazy river and four swimming pools.
