Alain St.Ange, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, and Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, Emirates Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations for West Asia & Indian Ocean, have again signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the 2011 Dubai Air Show in the presence of Thierry Antinori, the Emirates Executive Vice President, Passenger Sales Worldwide; Julie Muirhead, the Regional Director for the Seychelles Tourism Board; and Aliette Esther, the Tourism Boardโ€™s Abu Dhabi Tourism Attachรฉ in the Seychelles Embassy.

Speaking at the signing ceremony at the Emirates Pavilion at the Air Show, Sheikh Majid Al Mualla said: โ€œRenewing our commitment to the Seychelles demonstrates that Emiratesโ€™ partnership with the archipelago and the Seychelles Tourism Board is a successful one. Indeed, along the years, both parties have shown the will to work hand in hand towards a common goal. Working together has brought concrete results in growing the awareness around the Seychelles throughout our network and contributed to the development of new markets. The Seychelles Tourism Board has proven to be one of the most dynamic promotion agencies we have worked with.

โ€œWe strongly believe in the Seychelles as a destination, and it is with this frame of mind that we will continue to work with the Seychelles Tourism Board for the future campaigns.โ€

On his part, Alain St.Ange said that Emirates has been a loyal partner for the Seychelles tourism industry. โ€œToday, Seychelles is but a stop away from anywhere in the world, and Emirates has played an important part in making this dream a reality. They have worked with us, and they have supported us in our drive to make Seychelles more visible, and for this we remain thankful.โ€
