The exhibition area devoted to the LGBT tourism segment, which is organized in collaboration with Diversity Consulting and enjoys the support of the Madrid City Council Tourism Department through the LGBT Product Club, will play a more prominent role at the fair and boost its international dimension.

Participants who request to take part before November 15 will enjoy a preferential right when it comes to choosing their exhibition space. Subsequently, allocations of exhibition space will continue to be made until this section of the fair is entirely full.

The International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, to be staged from January 18-22, 2012, will host the staging of the second edition of FITUR LGBT. This section of the fair will present an exhibition area for companies and destinations that offer tourism opportunities for the gay segment, together with an area for staging conferences and paper presentations.

Following the favorable results achieved at its inaugural edition, FITUR LGBT aims to boost its participation levels, increasing the amount of exhibition space available in Hall 10 at the IFEMA exhibition center and promoting its international dimension. In this respect, the FITUR LGBT section will present an ideal forum for business and know-how, one in which all tourism professionals interested in entering this market can familiarize themselves with the products on offer and the characteristics of LGBT demand, as well as discovering the keys to the success of different operators within this segment.
