Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, took time as he transited in Seoul to face the Korean press and highlight the unique selling points of the Seychelles. The press meetings with Seong Yeon Ho, the Editor of TNL News; Bora Yang, the Reporter from the Editorial Department of the Korea Travel Times โ€“ Travie; and Kuna Kim, Reporter from The Korea Travel News had been organized by Julie Kim, the Manager of the Seychelles Tourism Boardโ€™s Korea Office.

Alain St.Ange, accompanied by Sharen Venus, the Tourism Boardโ€™s Senior Marketing Executive, had been in Korea as delegates at the 19th Session of the UNWTO General Assembly.

โ€œThe meeting with the Korean press was important in our continued effort to get the name Seychelles in the forefront and in so doing to increase the visibility of the islands,โ€ said Alain St.Ange. Assisting the press meetings were Dong Chang Jeong and Julie Kim from the Seychelles Korea Office and Sharen Venus, the Senior Marketing Executive at the Seychelles Tourism Board.

The Seychelles prides itself as being open to press and believes that a visit by a press personality will result in a new ambassador for the islands, because they will always be overtaken by the beauty of the islands and by the warmth of the people of Seychelles.

It must be remembered that the Seychelles are the group of islands who moved to create a unique and exclusive club for the press community with their โ€œFriends of Seychellesโ€“Press.โ€ This club is reserved by Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board for members of the press who know the Seychelles, who understand the Seychelles, and who appreciate the Seychelles.
