Seychelles tourism leader says its time to realign vision

Louis D’Offay, the Chairman of the Seychelles Hospitality & Tourism Association, led members of his association in a visioning exercise last weekend.

Louis D’Offay, the Chairman of the Seychelles Hospitality & Tourism Association, led members of his association in a visioning exercise last weekend. Members of the private sector body that represents the whole tourism industry met at Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove Hotel with Freddy Karkaria, himself an Executive Board member of the association, acting as facilitator for the full-day meeting.

Louis D’Offay explained the need for the association to take stock of its own growth during the past years and of the importance and respect it today commands. “It is a time for us to realign our association’s vision to be in line with the situation on hand,” said Louis D’Offay.

The association will be reporting on the decisions taken at the visioning exercise to a general meeting of its members and to seek endorsement from its membership base.
