Centara Hotel & Convention Centre Udon Thani will reopen on December 15 following a complete renovation of the hotel’s guestrooms, restaurants, bars, and public areas.

The Convention Centre, which is located in the integral Central Plaza shopping complex, is still undergoing renovation and will be completed in March 2012.

The hotel renovations have increased the number of guestrooms and suites to a total of 259, with the rooms being redesigned to offer international luxury in light and contemporary surroundings, with stylish furnishings and brand-new bathrooms.

There are now 236 Standard, Superior, and Deluxe rooms, each of 32 square meters in area. The two Petite Suites feature 42 square meters of space, while the 20 Junior Suites have a separate bedroom and living room within their 64 to 74 square meters. The Executive Suite on the top floor has one bedroom and one living room and offers a huge area of 128 square meters.

The all-day restaurant, Ban Chieng, serves the spicy local Issan cuisine along with international food, while the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, Luk Fatt, serves Cantonese food with a modern style and is one of the city’s favorite Chinese outlets. The hotel also has a popular karaoke lounge, @Tune.

Among the leisure facilities are a Spa Cenvaree with six stylish Thai pavilions where private treatments are offered to individuals and couples, and there is a fitness center with a yoga studio, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and an outdoor swimming pool.
