The 5th Annual China-U.S. Tourism Leadership Summit will be hosted by the U.S. Travel Association (USTA) in Hawaii from Sept. 23-26. The summit, considered by both governments to be of great significance, will allow an opportunity for members of the U.S. and Chinese travel industries to build on strong and important relationships and contribute to increased opportunities for travel between the United States and China.

More than 70 members of the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) and the USTA will be welcomed to Hawaii and then travel to Kona for discussions on the travel needs of U.S. and Chinese travelers. In addition, members from major China media outlets will also be traveling with the group to provide coverage of the summit and provide greater exposure for the unique offerings of our Hawaiian Islands.

With the recent establishment of the direct flight from Shanghai to Honolulu and the upcoming APEC Leadersโ€™ Week, the China-U.S. Tourism Leadership Summit will provide another facet to expand upon relationships to enable travel between China, the United States and Hawaii.
