LONDON, England – Thanks to the recent huge airlines sales throughout June, July, and August, tour operators in Florida have reported seeing increases in bookings from Britain throughout November 2011-March 2012.

A combination of excellent, reduced airfares of up to 40% with firm favorites such as Virgin Atlantic and British Airways, and the demand for direct flights to Orlando, has meant that many customers have pushed back their summer Florida holiday to later on in the year and early into 2012.

With continuously great-value flight and holiday package deals, many customers are discovering the joy of visiting Florida out of season during the quieter times of late summer and early autumn and winter. The weather is still pleasant and the parks and attractions are less crowded, which means customers can enjoy the best of the Sunshine State at their own leisurely pace.

Harry Hastings, director at Ocean Florida, an independent Florida specialist, reported: “We’ve seen a huge increase in popularity for visiting Florida outside of the peak summer periods. Customers traveling during autumn and winter benefit from excellent discounts and fantastic value, and are now staring to delay their annual holiday from the height of summer to November to March.

“Florida has become a destination that customers want to visit again and again; many are choosing to travel in both summer and winter because the deals are such fantastic value.”
