German star talks about Seychelles wedding and honeymoon

Roberto Blanco, the famous German musician, singer, and actor who recently traveled to the Seychelles for his wedding, was hosted for a dinner party at the home of the Munich-based Seychelles Tourism Ambassador, Lindy Scheele, and her husband, Michael.

Mr. and Mrs. Blanco were joined at the Scheele residence by Alain St. Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, who was on a five-day working mission in Germany; Edith Hunzinger, the Frankfurt-based Manager of the Seychelles Tourism Board Germany Office; Sharen Venus, the Board’s Senior Marketing Executive; and Christine Vel, a Marketing Executive also from the islands Tourism Board’s Head Office.

The dinner was an occasion for Roberto Blanco, the famous German star to express his feelings about his romantic Seychelles wedding and to discuss his honeymoon/holiday that followed. “We dream about the Seychelles and the lovely time we spent in these superb islands,” said Roberto Blanco. “We shall be back very soon,” he said.

Alain St. Ange, who was thankful to the Seychelles Tourism Ambassador, Lindy Scheele, for hosting that dinner, said that the evening was a Seychelles evening away from home. “You can take a Seychellois away from Seychelles, but you can never take Seychelles out of the Seychellois. This was clear that for Seychellois nationals anywhere in the world where they find themselves in today. Lindy Scheele showed at her evening at her home in Munich her determination to assist the Seychelles Tourism Board succeed in their mission in making Seychelles more visible in Germany,” Alain St. Ange said.

“We were happy to hear Roberto Blanco speaking so positively about our islands. We have discussed many ideas with Roberto including the Seychelles 2012 Carnaval International de Victoria. Our discussions with Roberto will be ongoing as we now can consider Roberto Blanco a friend of the Seychelles,” said Alain St. Ange.
