Dominican Republic welcomes Miami Dolphins cheerleaders

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – The Dominican Republic (DR) Ministry of Tourism and the eco-rich Puerto Plata province welcomed 22 Miami Dolphins cheerleaders May 16-24, 2011 for the filming and photography of their sexy Cheerleader Swimsuit Calendar; features for the Dolphin Digest publication; and several television specials. The cheerleaders filmed calendar scenes and photographs around the Puerto Plata region with its idyllic beaches, ancient forts and exciting attractions in towns like Puerto Plata, Cabarete, Cofresi and Sosua.

“The Puerto Plata region’s amazing sun, sea and sand will make a memorable setting for the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders swimsuit calendar,” said Magaly Toribio, Vice Minister of International Promotion for the DR Ministry of Tourism. “Puerto Plata offers visitors so many authentic Dominican experiences to discover and savor including vibrant history, breathtaking scenery, contemporary and luxe resorts, and limitless eco-adventures making it the perfect film location.”
