The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is now enrolling for the university course, Tourism and International Cooperation for Development, 2011 edition in English, organized by the UNWTO.Themis Foundation. The online training takes place from August 22 to 23 September 23, 2011 and the on-site training from October 1-15, 2011 at the George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA. The deadline for applications is May 31.

This course takes place annually at the George Washington University and trains university graduates and professionals in tourismโ€™s development role. From among the participants that successfully complete the course, a selection is made to form part of the UNWTO.Volunteers Corps who work on UNWTO projects and those of other UN agencies around the world.
