Seychelles Tourism Board CEO Alain St.Ange, who is in South Africa for the Annual INDABA Tourism Trade Fair, will join the Regional Tourism Organization of Southern Africa’s (RETOSA) Inaugural Annual Destination Marketing Conference today, Saturday, May 7 at the ICC Meeting Room in Durban. The invitation was transmitted to the Seychelles Tourism Chief by Mr. Kwakye Donkor, the Marketing and Communication Director of RETOSA, who will personally be the moderator for the session where Alain St.Ange will be a panel member.

Mr. St.Ange was invited by RETOSA to be a panel member for discussion on “Insights into Regional Destination Marketing: Branding, MICE, and Mega Events.”

“It is a good way to keep Seychelles as one of the world of leaders in the tourism field. We are today respected to have launched our own Seychelles brand of tourism and to have made the brand work for our country,” said Alain St.Ange.

The Seychelles delegate will use the opportunity to showcase the Carnaval International de Victoria, Seychelles very own carnival of carnivals, as an event that has the possibility of playing a part in the marketing of the regional tourism possibilities.

“We were honored to have been invited to be part of this meeting and to be one of the members of the panel for discussions. We know that Seychelles is today respected for what we have done and for what we are doing. I will take my seat at the Regional Tourism Organization’s Meeting with pride on behalf of Seychelles,” said Alain St.Ange.
