Aliette Esther, a born and bred Seychellois, has been working and living in the UAE for the past 10 years. Over those past years, she has always been in touch with her home country, the Seychelles. In 2010, the Seychelles Tourism Board appointed her as a Seychelles Tourism Ambassador in the UAE in a drive to recognize Seychellois living in the four corners of the world for the good work they were doing in their daily lives in the promotion of their birth place.

Aliette Esther, based in the UAE, is one of those who moves to fill the gap that existed in suppliers with a local eye, for the Seychelles tourism industry. She had been involved in the food industry, and in the year 2009 and 2010, she has taken the trouble to carry out extensive research on the Seychelles hospitality industry to identify the requirements of the hotels and of the Seychelles in general.

In 2011, Aliette Esther decided to partner with Golden Star International (LLC), a UAE-based company specializing in the food trade industry and with more than 12 years experience. Some of Golden Star International’s activities are:

โ€ข Food Service
โ€ข Distribution
โ€ข Wholesale
โ€ข Exports
โ€ข Ship Chandeling and Retail

In spite of this short tenure of operations in the UAE, the Golden Star International ranks today as one of the pioneer leaders in the food trade imports and exports. They also specialize in supply chain, storage, distribution, and marketing in an extensive range of products such as:

โ€ข Bakery & Confectioneries
โ€ข Dairy Products
โ€ข Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
โ€ข Dry Beans & Pulses
โ€ข Juices & Drinks
โ€ข Frozen Meat & Seafood
โ€ข Chilled Meat and more

Aliette Esther, who took time last week to visit the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Tourism Travel Trade Fair in Dubai to meet the Seychelles delegation, said that her company’s motto is: Anything, Anywhere, Anytime.

She believes that she can supply to Seychelles at the best price any of the requirements of the local hospitality industry. “We have cut down the middle men and can today guarantee the best price for our products. We will deal with big or small enterprises and ensure that they all get the best quality of products at the best price possible,” said Aliette Esther.

Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, also met with Aliette Esther at the ATM Tourism Trade Fair in Dubai. “We often complain about prices, and now one of us has put in place a business aimed at reducing operating costs in Seychelles,” said Alain St.Ange.
