Last Easter Sunday saw Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort and Casino put up an event for visitors and Seychellois families together. They responded to the appeal made by the island’s President Mr. James Michel when he launched his new vision for tourism, which he called the “Seychelles brand.” The Seychelles Presidents’ vision wants to see the development of domestic tourism through events and the opening up of resorts to the local population.

The Seychelles Hospitality Industry got involved to make Seychelles more known as an events-based destination. The successful “carnival of carnivals” staged in Seychelles in March this year was one of the events where the island’s tourism industry rallied together to bring to Seychelles the best and the known carnivals of the world to participate alongside cultural groups from the four corners of the world.

Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort and Casino has now ventured to help make this appeal a reality with their Easter Day celebration that saw the participation of more than 60 kids and 150 adults. Live entertainment and games were organized with the Easter Lunch Party in a move aimed at strengthening family ties. Many tourists at Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort and Casino joined in the fun and got very excited when they saw the arrival of Easter bunnies in Seychelles.

“We organized the Easter Kids Party event to allow more local families and their kids to network. We had a handful with the kids jumping in the Bouncing Castle. We hope more families in the local community will join in the fun and family day out next Easter,” said Ken Choo, General Manager of the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort and Casino, “I [would] like to thank [the] Seychelles Tourism Board and Cable and Wireless to join us as partners in this event to bring cheer to the kids and families in Seychelles. At the end of the day, all the kids went home happy and exhausted with a photo of themselves with the Easter bunnies and Easter chocolates.
