SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – After many years of successful operation in Old San Juan, Hard Rock International will close its San Juan cafe, located at 253 Recinto Sur Street, effective April 22, 2011.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – After many years of successful operation in Old San Juan, Hard Rock International will close its San Juan cafe, located at 253 Recinto Sur Street, effective April 22, 2011. Since opening its doors in Puerto Rico in 1993, Hard Rock has enjoyed a rich history and appreciated the opportunity to serve the local community.

San Juan is an important market for Hard Rock International and the brand has a strong desire to remain in the marketplace. In alignment with the Hard Rock’s vision, the company will attempt to relocate the restaurant under company or franchise ownership to a more vibrant and strategic location in San Juan allowing for greater opportunities for the brand. Executives are actively exploring strategic locations for Hard Rock Cafe in Puerto Rico and a number of sites are currently under consideration.
