An Air France Super Jumbo jet slamming into a smaller Delta commuter plane was captured on amateur video Monday night at New York’s JFK Airport.

The enormous Airbus A380 sent the 70-seat Delta jet spinning with such ease it seemed more like a toy rather than passenger aircraft.

No injuries have been reported and the Air France jet has been impounded by US authorities for investigation of the collision.

The A380 Super Jumbo, with a wingspan of more than 80 yards, is the world’s largest passenger jet.

This is the second time an Airbus A380 has collided with another plane on the tarmac. On October 30 in Paris, an Airbus A380 brushed the wing of an Airbus A330 that was parked at Charles de Gaulle airport.

It seems those airline safety videos that ask passengers to keep their seatbelts on until the aircraft has stopped actually has good reasoning behind it.
