Last Saturday Seychelles welcomed its first carnival delegation. Mr, Suleiman, 2nd Secretary to the Vice President of Zanzibar Tanzania, arrived ahead of the Vice President of Zanzibar Tanzania, accompanied by two other government officers.

Zanzibar Tanzania is one of the countries sending a delegation to the 2011 Seychelles “Carnival International de Victoria,” and they will be particating in the float parade around the the streets of Victoria on Saturday afternoon, March 5. Zanzibar Tanzania will see their delegation headed by the Vice President of the country who is expected in Seychelles in the coming days.

Alain St.Ange, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, accompanied by Maryvonne Pool, the Seychelles Consul and Tourism Ambassador in Tanzania, were at the airport to welcome the Zanzibar Tanzania Delegation.

“The next few days will see all the delegations arrive one by one, and we are doing all we can to ensure a smooth entry in our country. This is why the Tourism Board will be at the airport to greet every delegation on their arrival. They are here to celebrate with us in our carnival, and we want to be on hand when they land on our shores,” Alain Srt.Ange, CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board said.
