LOS ANGELES, California – Green Globe Certification today welcomed Ms. Helene Møgelhøj as the dedicated certification auditor for the United Kingdom. Ms. Helene Møgelhøj has recently completed Green Globe Auditor Training via the Green Globe Academy and will be working across the United Kingdom, as well as supporting Green Globe Preferred Partners in Europe and the Middle East.

Mr. Guido Bauer, Green Globe Certification CEO, said, “We are very pleased to welcome Ms Helene Møgelhøj to the Green Globe team. Helene is highly qualified and well recognized in the travel and tourism industry with an international career spanning 15 years in both the private and public sector.

“Helene’s extensive knowledge and skills range from resort planning to strategy formulation and sustainability. In her previous role as a senior consultant within PKF’s hotel consultancy services, Helene has worked on hotel assignments in destinations from South Africa to Oman, as well as Europe and the United Kingdom. Helene is also an ISO14001 accredited internal environmental auditor,” added Mr. Bauer.

Ms. Møgelhøj said: “I am delighted to be part of Green Globe. Ms. Møgelhøj has specialized skills in tourism destination development and management having worked with Sea Space, the economic development company for Hastings and Bexhill. Ms. Møgelhøj managed the comprehensive destination management development program, supported by a research and implementation plan for delivery by key partners. Ms. Møgelhøj will be assisting Green Globe Certification launch its Sustainable Destination Certification in 2011.
