DUBAI, U.A.E. โ Emirates has announced the appointment of Joel Goldowsky as sales manager, Northeast US. Goldowsky joins Emirates with more than 28 years of experience in the airline industry. Reporting to Richard Pasciuto, Emirates vice president of Sales for the US, Joel will be responsible for regional business development, managing existing retail accounts and training a team of senior sales executives.
Prior to joining Emirates, Goldowsky was manager of Channel Sales US for Air France. Prior to that, he was the district manager for the Tri-State Region and New England.
Nigel Page, Emiratesโ senior vice president, Commercial Operations, the Americas, said, โWith Emirates beginning commercial service using our brand new A380 between Dubai and New Yorkโs JFK International Airport on August 1, we see tremendous opportunity to expand our presence in the Northeast. Goldowsky received his Bachelorโs Degree in Social Work from Kean University in Union, New Jersey. He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife and three children. Goldowsky is an avid traveler, enjoys all types of sports and is active in supporting several charitable and youth organizations.
