South Africa and Angola to strengthen tourism ties

Luanda – The director of South Africa’s National Tourism Agency, Phumi Dhlomo, has considered Angola as an important and strategic partner for boosting tourism activity between the two countries.

Luanda – The director of South Africa’s National Tourism Agency, Phumi Dhlomo, has considered Angola as an important and strategic partner for boosting tourism activity between the two countries.

The South African officer, who was speaking during a press conference promoted by that institution, explained that Angola is a strategic partner, due to its potentialities and the number of national tourists that visit South Africa.

“Angola is a strategic partner for our touristim sector, being on the top of our priority policies, such as were Nigeria and Kenya. Lately there has been a growth in the number of Angolans that visit and help to develop the South African tourism market”, he highlighted.

The official announced the setting up of a permanent representation of the agency in Angola, as from March 2011, in order to strengthen and boost the existing interchange.
